When Prudence Dillingham was born on 11 April 1822, her father, Broadrick Dillingham, was 34 and her mother, Zilpha Allen, was 26. She married James B. Walker on 19 March 1854. She lived in Leeds, Kennebec, Maine, United States in 1850. She died on 12 August 1899, in Turner, Androscoggin, Maine, United States, at the age of 77.

1825 · The Crimes Act

Age 3

The Crimes Act was made to provide a clearer punishment of certain crimes against the United States. Part of it includes: Changing the maximum sentence of imprisonment to be increased from seven to ten years and changing the maximum fine from $5,000 to $10,000.
1832 · Calais Branch is Chartered

Age 10

The State of Maine chartered the Calais Railway in 1832, one of the first railway charters to be granted by the state. Construction was very long, as the project was reorganized, abandoned, transferred to other companies, and extended several times. It was finally completed in 1898.

U.S. acquires vast tracts of Mexican territory in wake of Mexican War including California and New Mexico.
