When Albert Lowe was born on 7 May 1882, in Auckland, Auckland, North Island, New Zealand, his father, Charles Henry Lowe, was 36 and his mother, Maria Alberta Ann Stainton, was 27. He married Mary Ann James in 1904, in New Zealand. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters. He died on 2 July 1949, in New Zealand, at the age of 67, and was buried in Waitakere, Auckland, North Island, New Zealand.
