    After Hitler invaded Poland, France and Britain declared war on Germany. France lost 472,000 in military and civilians. 100,000 of which were Jewish citizens.

    1944 · The Beaches of Normandy Get Stormed

    Age 18

    On June 6, 1944 United States forces stormed the beaches of Normandy, France. The four beaches that were stormed were Utah, Omaha, Golden, and Juno.  It gave the allies what they needed to liberate Frane, which was the start to liberate the rest of Europe.
