When Sana Solia was born in 1856, in Samoa, her father, Solia Sofara Solia, was 35 and her mother, Sisafua Malietoa, was 20. She married Frank Lascelles Jardine on 16 October 1873. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. She died in September 1923, at the age of 67, and was buried in Somerset, England, United Kingdom.
