She married William Neville Bennett in 1794, in North Carolina, United States. They were the parents of at least 10 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 5 July 1847, in Wadesboro, Anson, North Carolina, United States, at the age of 70, and was buried in Bennett Cemetery, Wadesboro, Anson, North Carolina, United States.

1781 · The First Constitution

Serving the newly created United States of America as the first constitution, the Articles of Confederation were an agreement among the 13 original states preserving the independence and sovereignty of the states. 1799 · Gold Nuggets Found

In 1799, in Little Meadow Creak located in Cabarrus County, North Carolina a large yellow ""rock"" was found by Conrad Reed. A few years later it was determined that the ""rock"" was a gold nugget.
