When Cécile Thérèse Marie Richard was born on 27 April 1873, in Massongex, Valais, Switzerland, her father, Jules Joseph Richard, was 26 and her mother, Marie Elise Biollay, was 26. She married Jean- Joseph Gollut on 27 May 1893. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. She died on 23 July 1955, at the age of 82.
