He married Marie Gabrielle d'Audibert de Lussan on 19 July 1700, in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Seine-et-Oise, France. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He died on 16 December 1702, in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, Gard, Languedoc-Roussillon, France, at the age of 29.
