She married Hans Nielsen on 24 February 1839, in Fraugde, Odense, Fyn, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 4 daughters. She immigrated to United States in 1865 and lived in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1865 and Utah, Utah, United States in 1870. She died on 30 November 1893, in Provo, Utah, Utah, United States, at the age of 75, and was buried in Provo City Cemetery, Provo, Utah, Utah, United States.
