She lived in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois, United States in 1839 and Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1850. She died on 9 November 1858, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 73, and was buried in Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.

1786 · Shays' Rebellion

Caused by war veteran Daniel Shays, Shays' Rebellion was to protest economic and civil rights injustices that he and other farmers were seeing after the Revolutionary War. Because of the Rebellion it opened the eyes of the governing officials that the Articles of Confederation needed a reform.
