When Peder Larsen was born on 25 July 1812, in Vesterborg, Lollands Nørre, Maribo, Denmark, his father, Lars Hansen, was 36 and his mother, Maren Nielsdatter, was 24. He married Ane Kirstine Nielsdatter on 7 January 1843, in Vesterborg, Lollands Nørre, Maribo, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. He immigrated to Utah, United States in 1866 and lived in Halsted, Lollands Nørre, Maribo, Denmark in 1845 and Halsted, Halsted, Halsted Klosters, Denmark in 1850. He died on 3 October 1856, in Laramie, Albany, Wyoming, United States, at the age of 44.
