When William Hichborn Mackenzie was born on 20 January 1871, in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States, his father, William McKenzie, was 36 and his mother, Lucy E. Hichborn, was 24. He died on 27 July 1875, at the age of 4, and was buried in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States.
