They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Athens, McMinn, Tennessee, United States in 1900 and Justice Precinct 1, Fannin, Texas, United States for about 30 years. He died on 6 February 1948, in Dallas, Dallas, Texas, United States, at the age of 93, and was buried in Willow Wild Cemetery, Bonham, Fannin, Texas, United States.
