She lived in Bingham, Idaho, United States in 1930 and Blackfoot, Bingham, Idaho, United States in 1940. She died on 3 February 1982, in West Bountiful, Davis, Utah, United States, at the age of 87, and was buried in Bountiful Memorial Park, Bountiful, Davis, Utah, United States.

1896 · Plessy vs. Ferguson

1896 · Utah Becomes a State

After three prior attempts to become a state, the United States Congress accepted Utah into the Union on one condition. This condition was that the new state rewrite their constitution to say that all forms of polygamy were banned. The territory agreed, and Utah became a state on January 4, 1896.
