When Paris Jaug was born on 17 July 1959, in Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental, Philippines, his father, Eliseo Macan Jaug, was 29 and his mother, Nonita Jaug, was 24. He died on 12 May 2012, in Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines, at the age of 52.

Marcos declares martial law. The parliament is suspended, opposition politicians are arrested, censorship is imposed.

1981

Marcos lifts Martial Law.

1986

"Marcos was declared winner in a presidential election beating Corazon Aquino amid charges of fraud. There are mass protests, dubbed ""people power"", in Manila. The military withdraws its support for Marcos. Marcos flees to Hawaii. Aquino is declared president and forms a new government. Marcos dies in Hawaii in 1989."
