When Walter Peter Stample was born on 7 October 1887, his father, John Stample, was 27 and his mother, Catherine, was 21. He married Mary H Morasky on 6 August 1911. They were the parents of at least 3 daughters. He died on 2 August 1978, in Wolcottville, Johnson Township, LaGrange, Indiana, United States, at the age of 90, and was buried in Rome City, Orange Township, Noble, Indiana, United States.
