When Brittanna Elizabeth Mayo was born on 1 May 1814, in Old Sparta, Edgecombe, North Carolina, United States, her father, John Mayo, was 21 and her mother, Gatsey Williamson, was 17. She married Henry Bryant Manning Jolley on 31 October 1833, in Weakley, Tennessee, United States. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in Utah, Utah, United States in 1860 and Utah, United States in 1870. She died on 6 May 1885, in Mount Carmel, Kane, Utah, United States, at the age of 71, and was buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel, Kane, Utah, United States.
