Oluf Pedersson was born in November 1688, in Hjärtum, Västra Götaland, Sweden as the son of Peder. He married Gunnilla Olofsdotter on 13 November 1710, in Hjertum, Göteborg och Bohus, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 5 daughters. He died on 22 April 1749, in his hometown, at the age of 60.
