When Magdalena Malen Rojas Daporta was born on 18 July 1914, in Guánica, Puerto Rico, her father, Manuel de Jesús Rojas Malavé, was 25 and her mother, Carmen Daporta Montalvo, was 23. She lived in Gurabo, Gurabo, Puerto Rico in 1920 and San Germán, San Germán, Puerto Rico in 1930. She died in 1989, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at the age of 75.
