Brief Life History of Robert Neil

Robert Hunter, former father-in-law of (President Joe Biden) died Monday in Winterhaven hospital he was 76 years old. Mr. Hunter Auburn New York had a vacation home in Haines City, Florida. His daughter Neilia Hunter Biden married Joe Biden in 1965. She and their 13 month old daughter Naomi Christina “Amy” Biden died in Monday, December 18, 1972, in an automobile accident near Hockessin, Delaware. From 1961 to 1968 Mr. Hunter owned and operated an “old time diner” in Auburn He expand ed it to several restaurants and later managed the food service at the community college in Auburn. He was a member of his local church and volunteer counselor at an Auburn YWCA camp. Mr. Hunter was a Navy veteran of World War II , he is survived by his wife Louise; two sons…Michael of Lake New York and John of Syracuse New York, and five grandchildren including Beau Biden and Hunter Biden.

Jeannette Pickering Rankin became the first woman to hold a federal office position in the House of Representatives, and remains the only woman elected to Congress by Montana.
