When Lena Caisa Ekman was born on 16 September 1797, in Storfors, Värmland, Sweden, her father, Johan Ekman, was 25 and her mother, Catharina Dybeck, was 23. She married Salomon Christenson Lundberg Sr. on 30 September 1815, in Skållerud, Älvsborg, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in Östebo, Skållerud, Älvsborg, Sweden in 1830 and Skållerud, Älvsborg, Sweden in 1891. She died about 1865, in Wyoming, United States, at the age of 69, and was buried in Wyoming, Albany, Wyoming, United States.
