She married Tolef Larson on 6 December 1810, in Røyken, Buskerud, Norway. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. She immigrated to Utah, United States in 1855 and lived in Røyken, Buskerud, Norway in 1801 and Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1860. She died on 31 August 1869, in Cottonwood, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 84, and was buried in Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.

Caused by war veteran Daniel Shays, Shays' Rebellion was to protest economic and civil rights injustices that he and other farmers were seeing after the Revolutionary War. Because of the Rebellion it opened the eyes of the governing officials that the Articles of Confederation needed a reform. The Rebellion served as a guardrail when helping reform the United States Constitution.
