He married Candida Irrizarry Pagan on 28 May 1916, in Lajas, Puerto Rico. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Palmarejo, Lajas, Puerto Rico in 1930 and Sabana Yeguas, Lajas, Puerto Rico for about 10 years. He died on 25 November 1960, in Lajas, Puerto Rico, at the age of 66.
