He married Margaretha Berg about 1549. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters. His occupation is listed as emperor of austria, hungary and bohemia in Bohemia, Czechia. He died on 9 August 1602, in Saxony, German Empire, at the age of 67.

Name Meaning
Name ascribed in medieval Christian tradition to one of the three wise men of the Orient who brought gifts to the infant Jesus. The name is a variant of that of the biblical king Belshazzar and means ‘Baal protect the king’. It has never been a common given name in the English-speaking world.
