When Luis Perez Ruíz was born on 13 January 1957, in Pucallpa, Coronel Portillo, Ucayali, Peru, his father, Agustin Perez Mayna, was 45 and his mother, Elmira Ruiz Ruiz, was 34. He died in 1979, in his hometown, at the age of 22.
