He lived in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States in 1737. He died on 23 August 1783, in Wilmington, New Hanover, North Carolina, United States, at the age of 46, and was buried in Saint Philip's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Winnabow, Brunswick, North Carolina, United States.
