They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He registered for military service in 1669. He died on 1 May 1718, in Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina, United States, at the age of 72, and was buried in Saint Phillips Church, Charleston, South Carolina, United States.
