John MacDowell Dunaway Jr., born 1920 in Florida. He had a career as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army. In the last few years of his marriage, he was stationed in Dugway Utah at the Tooele Army Proving Grounds. He and Grace Smith married in 1939 and divorced in 1955. They travelled from place to place in the military, taking along with their two children. He was an alcoholic, which contributed to the end of the marriage. He later married Catherine Bell and had two more sons. He died in 1984. Please see the memory section for his full obituary, as well as several family photos.

Timpanogos Cave National Monument is a United States National Monument protecting the Timpanogos Cave Historic District and a cave system on Mount Timpanogos. There are three caves in the cave system, one of which is specifically called Timpanogos Cave but the caves are only viewable on guided tours when the monument is open.
The Neutrality Acts were passed in response to the growing conflicts in Europe and Asia during the time leading up to World War II. The primary purpose was so the US wouldn't engage in any more foreign conflicts. Most of the Acts were repealed in 1941 when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.
