When Jose Eralio Teuquil Asencio was born on 1 January 1950, in Calbuco, Llanquihue, Chile, his father, Nicanor Teuquil Miranda, was 26 and his mother, Maria Zaida Asencio Barria, was 23. He died on 5 August 1959, in his hometown, at the age of 9.
