When Eufemia Ayudan Garfillo was born on 14 May 1914, in Aparri, Cagayan, Philippines, her father, Gregorio Garfillo, was 29 and her mother, Timotea Ayudan, was 24. She married Epifanio Fabie Pollosco in 1938, in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. They were the parents of at least 4 sons. She died on 17 September 1990, in her hometown, at the age of 76.
