He married Mercedes Primitiva Lara on 24 October 1931, in La Jara, Conejos, Colorado, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 1 daughter. He lived in Orange Judicial Township, Orange, California, United States in 1940. He died on 25 July 2002, in Murrieta, Riverside, California, United States, at the age of 90.
