Brief Life History of Louis
When Louis d'Amboise was born in 1392, in Rochecorbon, Indre-et-Loire, France, his father, Ingelger II d'Amboise, was 35 and his mother, Jeanne de Craon, was 16. He married Louise-Marie de Rieux, Lady of Fougeray about 1420, in France. They were the parents of at least 3 daughters. He died on 28 February 1469, in Thouars, Deux-Sèvres, France, at the age of 77, and was buried in France.
