When Adela Talvas was born about 1118, in Ponthieu, France, her father, Guillaume Ier de Ponthieu, was 29 and her mother, Helie of Burgundy, was 39. She married William de Warenne 3rd Earl of Surrey about 1135. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. She died on 10 October 1174, in Wiltshire, England, at the age of 57, and was buried in Bradenstoke, Wiltshire, England.
