When Aliina Hannula was born on 5 June 1905, in Määttälä, Oulu, Finland, her father, Johan Erik Hannola, was 33 and her mother, Eriika Leskela, was 25. She married Hannu Salmijarvi on 13 March 1825. She died on 13 May 1960, in Oulu, Finland, at the age of 54.
