When Abele Olivo was born on 14 October 1898, in Siderópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil, his father, Carlos Olivo, was 13 and his mother, Antonia Dosolina Cesar, was 11. He married Diomira Fabbri on 8 August 1926, in Morro Chato, Turvo, Santa Catarina, Brazil. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 18 February 1966, in Urussanga, Urussanga, Santa Catarina, Brazil, at the age of 67.
