When Seigneur Alexandre II Desmier d'Olbreuse was born on 13 February 1608, in Olbreuse, Deux-Sèvres, Poitou-Charentes, France, his father, Duc Alexandre I d'Esmier d'Olbreuse, was 35 and his mother, Marie Baudouin, was 31. He married Jacquette Poussard du Bas-Vandré et de Saint-Marc on 16 September 1621, in Deux-Sèvres, France. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. He died in 1660, at the age of 52.
