The Lancaster Priory was designated in 1953. The building goes back possibly as far as 200 CE. In 1912, the building was unearthed. The building was formally known as the Proiry Church of St. Mary is a Church of England Parish Church of Lancaster, Lancashire, England.
1963 · Moors Murders

Age 21

The Moor Murders was a crime spree from July 12, 1963 through October 6, 1965, committed by Ian Brady and Myra Hindley. They were called this because the criminals would bury their victims in Saddleworth Moor. Their victims were Pauline Reade, John Kilbride, Keith Bennett, Lesley Ann Downey, and Edward Evans; all between the ages of 10-17. The victims were sexually assaulted and murdered, most were buried in graves and later discovered. Brady admitted to the murder of two of them and was declared criminally insane and sent to Ashworth Hospital. Shortly after Hindley admitted to the crimes also.
