He married Elisabeth Isabelle Brault about 1730, in Acadia, New France. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters. He died about 1790, in Petitcodiac, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 82, and was buried in Moncton, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada.
