He lived in Loma Linda, San Bernardino, California, United States in 1935 and San Bernardino Judicial Township, San Bernardino, California, United States in 1940. He died on 9 June 2006, at the age of 91.

1916 · The First woman elected into the US Congress

Jeannette Pickering Rankin became the first woman to hold a federal office position in the House of Representatives, and remains the only woman elected to Congress by Montana.

1931 · The Parthenon is Built

In 1931, a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Greece was erected in Nashville, Tennessee. The Parthenon was meant to be temporary, but became a permanent part of Tennessee culture. It also has a replica of the statue of Athena the Goddess of War.At the same time a city over Memphis built  giant pyramid replica to remind everyone what the city was named for.

Irish: translation into English of Gaelic fionn ‘fair’, which Woulfe describes as a ‘descriptive epithet that supplanted the real surname’, or a shortened Anglicized form of Gaelic Mac F(h)inn, a variant of Mag Fhinn (see McGinn ).
