When Abraham Whitson was born about 1781, in Jericho, Oyster Bay, Nassau, New York, United States, his father, Henry Whitson, was 37 and his mother, Clementine Underhill, was 36. He married Mary Jackson on 1 February 1804, in Bedelltown, Oyster Bay Town, Queens, New York Colony, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Newtown, Queens, New York, United States in 1850. He died on 5 August 1857, at the age of 77.

1781 · The First Constitution

Serving the newly created United States of America as the first constitution, the Articles of Confederation were an agreement among the 13 original states preserving the independence and sovereignty of the states.
