Jonas Abrahamson was born on 7 September 1777, in Broby, Östergötland, Sweden as the son of Abraham Andersson and Stina Parsdr. He married Maja Stina on 5 January 1806, in Bjälbo, Östergötland, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 3 daughters. He died on 16 May 1836, at the age of 58, and was buried in Bjälbo, Östergötland, Sweden.
