He lived in Appleton, Swift, Minnesota, United States in 1920 and Jamestown, Stutsman, North Dakota, United States in 1930. He died on 14 December 1936, at the age of 67, and was buried in Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown Junction, Stutsman, North Dakota, United States.
