When Maria Kis was born in 1894, her father, Antal Kis, was 27 and her mother, Teréz Borda, was 24. She married Istvan Klokniczer on 6 February 1921, in Keszthely, Zala, Hungary. They were the parents of at least 1 son. She died on 2 May 1971, in Balatongyörök, Zala, Hungary, at the age of 77.

WWI. Hungary fights on the losing side and the monarchy collapses.

Age 26

Hungary loses large part of territory to Czechoslovakia, Romania, Russia and Yugoslavia. The National Assembly restores Kingdom of Hungary. Horthy becomes regent and remains influential until 1944.

Age 44

Germany raise treaties in Munich and Vienna in which Southern Slovakia and Northern Transylvania were returned to Hungary.
