When Wesley A Galey was born on 28 July 1899, in Hallowell, Prince Edward, Ontario, Canada, his father, Arthur Galey, was 28 and his mother, Edith Alma Johnson, was 28. He immigrated to Vermont, United States in 1895 and lived in Orleans, Jefferson, New York, United States in 1905. He died in 1982, at the age of 83, and was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Perth, Lanark, Ontario, Canada.
