Joseph Carlton Fengler was born on 5 September 1922, in Oregon, United States as the son of Clarise Jean Fengler. He married Aurilia Bonita Cotterell on 30 August 1952, in Bannock, Idaho, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He lived in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, United States in 1940 and Bellevue, King, Washington, United States in 2006. He registered for military service in 1942. He died on 8 February 2011, in King, Washington, United States, at the age of 88, and was buried in Kent, King, Washington, United States.
