She married Charles Holcomb Brown on 12 June 1914, in Forsyth, North Carolina, United States. She lived in Richmond, Virginia, United States in 1930 and Old Lick, Roanoke, Virginia, United States in 1940. She died on 27 April 1961, in Salem, Roanoke County, Virginia, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Big Lick, Roanoke County, Virginia, United States.
