He immigrated to Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1860. He registered for military service in 1905. He died on 24 December 1925, in Fountain Green, Sanpete, Utah, United States, at the age of 81, and was buried in Fountain Green Cemetery, Fountain Green, Sanpete, Utah, United States.
