He immigrated to Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, United States in 1953 and lived in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States in 1957 and New York, United States in 1957. He died on 20 November 1957, in New York City, New York, United States, at the age of 84.

1874 · Secrete Service Headquarters

The Secrete Service Headquarters had been in NYC for four years. Finally in 1874, it returns to Washington D.C.

Thomas Edison had been seeking to create a more practical and affordable version of the lightbulb, primarily for home use. Edison had attempted several different materials, including platinum and other metals, before ultimately deciding on a carbon filament. On October 21, 1879, Edison finally carried out the first successful test of this new light bulb in Menlo Park, New Jersey.

1897 · The Union Loop Elevated

The Loop was born in political scandal that combined the three elevated railways around Chicago and combined them into one. The scandal was to raise the fares for commuters so state legislators could receive more money while in office.
