When Appoline Millet was born on 29 June 1799, in Sorel, Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada, her father, Jean Baptiste Hus dit Millet, was 30 and her mother, Mathurine Madeleine Giguère, was 23. She married Louis Caplette on 21 October 1817, in Saint-Pierre-de-Sorel, Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada. They were the parents of at least 11 sons and 6 daughters. She died on 4 May 1866, at the age of 66.
