When Nancy Bancroft was born on 16 March 1778, her father, James Bancroft, was 38 and her mother, Sarah Pearson, was 38. She married Jeptha Brown on 24 November 1799, in Reading, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. She died on 3 September 1806, at the age of 28.
