She married Samuel Abraham York on 24 October 1897, in Johnson, Texas, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. She lived in Justice Precinct 8, Johnson, Texas, United States in 1930 and Cleburne, Johnson, Texas, United States in 1950. She died on 26 December 1956, in Godley, Johnson, Texas, United States, at the age of 80, and was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Johnson, Texas, United States.

1881 · The Assassination of James Garfield
Garfield was shot twice by Charles J. Guitea at Railroad Station in Washington, D.C. on July 2, 1881. After eleven weeks of intensive and other care Garfield died in Elberon, New Jersey, the second of four presidents to be assassinated, following Abraham Lincoln.
